Ex- Doctor Faces Assault Allegations Against 38 Patients

Legal authorities report that a ex- doctor now faces charges for performing sexual assaults involving 38 individuals who were under his care.

The Grave Charges

The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising acts against children younger than 13 – between 2017 and 2021.

A deputy chief CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the evidence to establish that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”

These allegations come after what investigators called a “complex investigation” into reported assaults at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and Russells Hall hospital.

Spencer is due to appear at the local magistrates' court on 20 January.
