Their opponents are a Newcastle side who have not excelled in away matches – with just one win in seven.

The former Chelsea man could well assume a large share of the injured star's creative responsibilities, notably on set-pieces, and could play behind the striker.

Florian Wirtz, Liverpool, £8.1m – vs Wolverhampton Wanderers (H).

Wirtz is due a significant score and a home match against Wolves representing an ideal opportunity for that to happen.

He has posted points across four recent fixtures – a pair of assists and one 'defcon' display.

During that spell he has created 10 chances, the most of any his teammates, and his expected goals is 0.88.

Morgan Rogers, Villa, £7.2m – vs the Blues (A).

After recording 30 points in two games, Rogers' form cannot be overlooked.

He's Villa's talisman, capable of creating a strike with minimal space inside the area.

An away trip to Chelsea might seem a difficult assignment, the Birmingham club have won at that ground on two occasions in recent years.

Forwards

Hugo Ekitike (Captain), Liverpool, £8.9m – vs Wolves (H).

Given his fixture, having no competition for a starting spot, and having bagged five goals in three games, Ekitike receives the double-points role for this round.

Erling Haaland, Manchester City, £15.1m – vs Nottingham Forest (A).

There's no dropping Haaland, although because he has a tougher away game this week, we are opting to pass over him for the armband.
