Devoted followers of the actress are urging that a person who breached a fence and grabbed the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or deported from Singapore.

A viral video shows the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors proceeded down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the event by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though court documents revealed that he was due to attend court on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed features clips of him disturbing other celebrity events, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the city last winter.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," stated an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user questioned.

Fans Voice Worry Over Ariana's Safety

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the conclusion of her 2017 concert in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented another response on Instagram.

Several supporters also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while some requested social media platforms to remove Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande seemed shocked when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore fans had waited to see the performers of Wicked

Hundreds of fans had gathered in a sea of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including a number who had queued for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The movie, to be premiered on November 21, is the follow-up of a dual version of the popular Broadway and West End show Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected friendship between two distinct characters.

The production itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sparkling outfit at the gathering while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a black tube gown decorated with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the top-earning motion picture of the previous year in the UK, and received a dozen award recognitions, earning a pair for outstanding attire and set decoration.
